Trataka is a Sanskrit word meaning to gaze steadily. Holding the gaze on one point develops concentration and will power. It is a very effective way to clear complexes and phobias and can be used to relieve nervous tension, anxiety and insomnia.

Those of you who have practised trataka may have experienced the hazards of trying to balance a candle at eye level.

This elegant simple design provides a safe, adjustable and portable solution.

The trataka stand is ideal for both travelling and home use.

The trataka stand easily unscrews into three pieces, making it very convenient for storage and travelling.

The photograph on the right shows a fully retracted stand, 15cms high, that extends to 95cms. It is possible to set the height at any point within this range easily, simply by pulling it up or down.

The stand has been designed and developed by Sanyamatma and is manufactured in the UK using chrome plated steel.
